Sick,

I'm sick.

I have a bit of a fever.

Ugh.

I look forward to sleeping.

Just when will that be?

YAY

So, I love protexia.

That's right I do. I was able to get my non-Israeli-passport but it is an israeli passport renewed in less time that ever thought possible. It was called in yesterday (which you sooooo can't do) I arrived today and thanks to knowing a lot of people in the consulate, i didn't have to wait in line when they let everyone in at 9:30. I was out of the consulate by 9:33. Yup, renewed in 3 min. Take that Misrad Ha'Panim.

Today we had an event called "pudding for peace: pudding Darfur first." It was a pudding eating contest to raise awareness (and raise money for Doctors without Borders) about Darfur. It was a great event, and we raised over $200 for the cause. I also got chocolate pudding up my nose.

"So what did you do at work?"
"I participated in a chocolate pudding contest."

What a day :)

YAY

YAY!

Ian is in town. YAY. He just got here tonight. This is actually the first time that Ian and I have been in Toronto at the same time (more so, same time and good friends) so I am sure that we will go to Canadian tire (eh?) and get some double-doubles and timmy's.

:)

Tomorrow I am going to the Israeli Consulate, have to get some papers extended. Woohoo.

It's the little things that are exciting. I hope that it wont take me 6 hours there.... well, a girl can hope anyways...

Helllooo

Hi there all in the world of blog.

So my friends were in town, which was great. We did some really fun stuff. It was like we didn't skip a beat between Israel and now. It was a really fun weekend. I also rode a Segway. Those are fun, I need one. It would make travelling Jerusalem sooo much more fun!

Hmm.. what else?

Work is insane. School is winding down. Elections happening. UGH. I don't remember JSF elections being this insane during my megalomaniac phase.

I will be in Israel 2 weeks from today. I cannot express how important that trip is going to be for my sanity. Its been a crazy past 2 weeks. I need a break.

THat's about it. I'm exausted, I'm worn out.

Dinner was a steak wrap; and it was good.
Mmmm.

Just like Santa, I am coming to town.

Hi all in blog land. So, I am coming to Israel for a visit. I land on April 4th, and leave on the 16th. However, I will be back in May staffing a trip for a month.

Things are going alright.

I would like to say that I have noticed something about Toronto. More so, Hockey. So I went to another Leafs game this week. I was watching how the Leafs play, but more so, the fans.

As many of you know, Hockey in canada is a religious thing. It doesnt matter how poorly your team is playing - people here will kill eachother for tickets. So, I've decided that the Leafs have some interesting similarities with a little place on the other side of the ocean.

First off, the leafs colours are Blue and White.
Look at the logo, blue bands, with the leafs logo in the centre.
The won the cup in '48, and '67.
People support it and will do anyting the can to go and see a "game."

Hmm... think about it.

I also went curling this week. I do have to say that it was super fun. I may have a new favourite sport to play - not kidding. I went wth work, so it was great. Love the fact that part of my job is to do fun things.

Friends from Israel

My friends Shoni and Eynat got stuck in Toronto for a few days (YAY!) So they spent shabbat here with me, which was great. Naomi came for dinner. We had a really nice shabbat. Really low key - which is always a great thing. Shoni even shared with me something that Shimon made in Israel.... :) Its been great having them here. They are hopefully getting to vegas until Monday, so until then, I got them here. YAY. Ian is coming in a few weeks, so soon I'll have the whole crew. it's funny when I go to Israel, they wont be there, so It's good that I am getting to see everyone now. (well minus moshe)

Hmm... that's else. Nothing else that I feel is blog-worthy.

Leave a post, make me feel special.

I wrote this Friday....

What a week.

So in my last entry I was on my way to Florida. Now I had a connection flight in Cincinnati and from there was flying to Ft. Lauderdale. So, we finally leave Toronto (delayed…naturally…) Now I must mention that my seat was 13A. Indecently, this plane only had 13 rows. I was in the last row, back corner. It was such a small area to be stuck in that even a munchkin would have been uncomfortable. So we finally make it to Cincy where I find out that my flight has been delayed. But don’t worry I am told, I will be put up in a hotel and given a meal voucher courtesy of delta (ooohhh) I end up getting a suite (well, it was a suite hotel) free internet and a king size bed. Now, I actually was in Kentucky, Hebron Kentucky to be exact. That part I thought was funny. I would like to say that $7 meal voucher got me far…. right. The next morning (at 9) I got on a plane and finally got to Florida. All in all, it took me 22 hours to get from door to door. I could have driven there faster. Oh well.

Florida was nice (once I got there) even did some good shopping. I must say though, the airport in cincy is quite nice.

Um…err…what else?

It snowed here yesterday (thusday). I mean SNOOOWWWEEED. Getting back from my office to the house tool 1.45 hours. Which is insane, as it should only take 12 on a slow day. Now all the snow is melting.

That’s about it right now. I can’t think of anything else to write. I’m also just not feeling like writing right now. So hey, it’s better than nothing!

Stay warm,

Nikki
